OBJECTIVE

This one day course is designed to introduce delegates to the identification of coshh hazards, risk reduction measures, coshh management and actions to take in the event of a spill. The practical session enables delegates to carry out a practical coshh assessment.

• Injuries and Diseases causes by hazardous substances

• Information contained within Safety Data Sheets

DURATION

The COSHH theory and practical assessment course is a one day course.

 

LOCATION

Heritage Fire and Safety offer ‘open’ courses utilising the excellent facilities available at @BalmoralHUB, Balmoral Business Park, Aberdeen, AB12 3GJ. These courses take place on the second Thursday of each month, 0900 -1600.

 

Alternatively, courses can be held at clients premises, details can be provided on request.

 

CERTIFICATION

An in-house training provider certificate will be issued on successful completion of COSHH training. Each delegate will be provided with a certificate detailing the subjects covered on the course. In addition, a group certificate will be issued to the company listing all attendees. 

 

The assessment process for this course will be a mix of practical application evidenced by observational checklists and a closed book short response question paper
