OBJECTIVE
This half day course is designed to introduce delegates to the identification of fire hazards, risk reduction measures, fire safety management and actions to take in the event of fire. The practical session enables delegates to choose and operate the appropriate first aid firefighting equipment (extinguishers).

DURATION
The Fire Awareness and practical use of extinguisher course is a half day course.
LOCATION
Heritage Fire and Safety offer ‘open’ courses utilising the excellent facilities available at @BalmoralHUB, Balmoral Business Park, Aberdeen, AB12 3GJ. These courses take place on the first and third Tuesday of each month, either from 0900-1200 or 1330–1600.
Alternatively, courses can be held at clients premises, details can be provided on request.
CERTIFICATION
An in-house training provider certificate will be issued on successful completion of Fire Warden training. Each delegate will be provided with a certificate detailing the subjects covered on the course. In addition, a group certificate will be issued to the company listing all attendees.
The assessment process for this course will be a mix of practical application evidenced by observational checklists and a closed book short response question paper
