OBJECTIVE
This one day course is designed to introduce delegates to the safety mentor process identification of risk, risk reduction measures and risk management. The practical session enables delegates to carry out risk assessments.

DURATION
The Safety Mentor theory and practical assessment course is a one day course.
LOCATION
Heritage Fire and Safety offer ‘open’ courses utilising the excellent facilities available at @BalmoralHUB, Balmoral Business Park, Aberdeen, AB12 3GJ. These courses take place on the third Thursday of each month, 0900 -1600.
Alternatively, courses can be held at clients premises, details can be provided on request.
CERTIFICATION
An in-house training provider certificate will be issued on successful completion of Safety Mentor training. Each delegate will be provided with a certificate detailing the subjects covered on the course. In addition, a group certificate will be issued to the company listing all attendees.
The assessment process for this course will be a mix of practical application evidenced by observational checklists and a closed book short response question paper
